소포를 보낼땐 별 생각없이, 미국우체국 USPS 를 이용하는데요, 어떨땐 생각보다 비싼 금액에 깜짝 놀라곤 합니다.
하여 요즘의 전 소포를 프렛레이트(Flat Rate Pricing)으로 보내고 있습니다.
먼저 쉬핑가격을 줄이는 기본은 최대한 작은 포장에 무게를 줄이는 것입니다, 내용물이 가벼워도 박스가 크면 비용도 증가 합니다.
- 미국 에서 한국으로 : 대한 통운등의 한국택배 회사 (우체국 보다 저렴하며, 배송기간 역시 3~5일 이면 충분히 들어갑니다. 사람입으로 들어가는 물품의 경우 받는 사람의 주민번호가 필요합니다, 누락시 한국 택배회사에서 수취인에게 전화로 확인 합니다.)
- 미국 에서 미국으로 : 우체국 USPS, 프렛레이트 (Flat Rate Pricing)용 박스는 우체국 또는 인터넷으로 주문할 수 있으며 무료 입니다. (지정된 박스에 물건이 들어만 가면 무게에 상관없이, 동일한 가격이 적용됩니다.)
